“ You are accountable for your actions, your decisions, your life; no one else is, but you.” - Catherine Pulsifer
I have observed and worked with high performing individuals in many areas of life for over 30 years. The common denominators in those who are not just going after their dreams, goals and objectives but achieving them are: Accountability, Consistency and Awareness.
Accountability:
There is so much distraction these days making it harder to be accountable. Each person is different in their approach to staying accountable. Some want an accountability buddy, others set timers, alarms or appointments and others create an environment to keep them on track.

Write or mentally note the answers to the following:
These are usually what I call "small 1%ers" protocols/habits that build over time.
When stacked together they form a routine.
Example - My four quadrants for optimal wellbeing might help
Mindfulness, Movement, Recovery, Nutrition
This might be something like a big hike or workout, 1/2 day recovery in nature, decompressing your mind and soul with a retreat or rejuvenating your body with a stack of multiple therapies like hyperbaric oxygen, hot/cold therapy, infra red sauna, Energy Enhancement system etc.
This will be things like an extended fast, a 4 day break somewhere, a fun event with friends and like minded people.
We all know that consistency is the common denominator over time that builds routines that then create the outcomes we so desire. But most of us struggle to stay consistent. My observations on what deters us from consistency is mindset. And within that mindset there is something I call the P.O.O.P factor which is the ego mind taking over based on some Projection - Objection - Opinion - Perception.
When we allow this to take over all consistency goes out the door. We then feel like we have let ourselves down. This then spirals into low self esteem and self worth mental dialog.
If you can catch the P.O.O.P and cancel the ego mind through mindfulness activities this will help to stay consistent.
50% of the time?
75% of the time?
95% of the time?
Awareness is the final step. Can you zoom out and see how accountable and consistent you are? Are you aware of what is taking you off track? This is deep emotional, sub conscious and shadow work. All top performers have done this work and continue to do so. The more layers you do of catching the P.O.O.P, turning down the noise of the ego mind, bringing awareness to your shadow side and staying consistent in the process, you will then fast track to unlock more of your human potential.
Are you turning the dial? If so how do you know? Are you using quantifiable data/metrics?
What P.O.O.P do you have around this? What is your P.O.O.P with ACA?
All high functioning and performing individuals have explored the depths of this and they continue to do so. It’s a journey not a destination.
Where are your gaps and what can you change now? Write it down, have a plan of action, embed accountability partners around you. You are worth it!
